The American company Sonos has just announced a new software update control for wireless music system. The new version 5.2 Sonos Controller can now manage multiple accounts of different music services like Spotify, Google Play or Amazon Music . Thus, different users can access their accounts online music from one controller SONOS .
SONOS is an American company dedicated the design of stereos with wireless connection. Their system is based on different speakers and components that can be accessed via its own wireless network that is transmitted by installing access from home. If you want a simple speaker to play our favorite music without more, we can choose between models PLAY: 1, PLAY: 3 or PLAY: 5 . If we choose to configure a more powerful system, we can combine these speakers among them, or add a SUB to reinforce bass frequencies. An interesting option is the PlayBar , a sound bar designed to be installed by the TV and can operate alone or combined with the SUB to create a Home Cinema compact.
All speakers are controlled by a software called Sonos Controller you can run from a smartphone or tablet , and also from the computer. The software addresses both sound settings, volume, etc., and select and play music we’ve added services.
The new update by SONOS Controller now adds support for different user accounts from the same music service. This allows each user or family member can choose your favorite music from your collection using the same controller. The SONOS Controller supports up 32 different music services and Spotify, Deezer, Amazon and Google Music Play among others.
Another of the improvements made to the Controller is that we can now control the system from a locked device Android . This will not be unlocked mobile or tablet to raise and lower the volume, or to pause or change the song you are listening. This feature will be very useful especially for those using passwords or security patterns to unlock the phone.
It is also envisaged the emergence of new devices Android Wear and although Compatibility is not guaranteed, the brand claims that many of these new devices will use this new function control from the lock screen.
Finally, the 5.2 software version S onos Controller also introduces an improved response and loudspeaker equalization PlayBar , another reason to upgrade software control.
The new software control SONOS Controller 5.2 is now available as a free download from the manufacturer’s website, and is compatible with iOS and Android devices, and also with Mac and PC computers
