Google announces Brightness, software for the Internet of Things – CNET in Spanish

Google used its developer event Google I / O to announce Shine, a software dedicated to the Internet of Things and give life to products of low power consumption.

The new software can run on devices that consume minimal RAM, with consumption of 32 or 64 megabytes of memory. Referring, Android phones can be used with up to 512 megabytes.

Sundar Pichai, senior vice president of Google, said during the press conference Brightness is “the lowest layer of Android, essential functions” . Brightness control devices allow home-as smart thermostats bulbs or style Nest– from Android devices such as phones or tablets.
