UNPA host the first regional conference of free software – Digital Journal TiempoSur

Río Gallegos, September 26, 2014 // The National University of Southern Patagonia will host the First Regional Conference on Free Software, which meet on October 11 in Rio Gallegos renowned experts, entrepreneurs, government officials, academics , hacktivists, programmers and users of the Southern Patagonia, with the objective of socializing experiences and promote the adoption, implementation and updating of free and open technologies.

The event, jointly organized by the Department of Systems and Information Technology of the UNPA and the International Conference of Free Software (CISL Argentina), will be held in the Conference Room and will OSDE as keynote speaker Jon ‘Maddog’ Hall, President and CEO of Linux International .

the president will also participate CSL Argentina, Jorge Cabezas, the national coordinator of the ‘Connect Equality’, Laura Penacca and relating the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Initiative Focus program, among other institutions .
