Berlin – The Volkswagen Group today sent the German authorities plan of action to fix rigged diesel vehicles, which will involve changes to the software in the case of 2-liter engines, very probably, additional technical repairs on engines of 1.6 liters.
According to said German Transport Minister, Alexander Dobrindt, Volkswagen meet the deadlines they had set him today and referred to the Federal Bureau of Motor Vehicles “writing extensive” with the timetable and the measures envisaged to address the scandal of manipulation.
The plan involves calling cars to workshops for repair and various forms of action as engines, as he had advanced yesterday the group to explain that some models would suffice software modification, but in others they need to repair the hardware.
