In the video released by the project managers can see two people and receiver–origin in each room sitting next to a monitor. A camera records the gestures that the person making home made and the ‘software’, passed on to the screen that reflects the image of the receiver estepermanece although still reports the Motherboard portal.
Given account differences in the face, the program transfers all the facial movements of the first to face the other person, that despite doing absolutely nothing, in the resulting image is as if all those gestures and mimes were really his.
The technology works even if the two people are of different genders, different physical constitution or if they are in areas with uneven lighting. “I imagine a multilingual video where the video with the face of a participant who does not speak a language is altered to match the audio from your translator in real time,” he explained in the video.
