Hacker Sepulveda proposes designing security software … – RCN Radio (blog)

The Attorney General said the hacker Andrés Fernando Sepulveda informally proposed that agency systems develop a tool focused on security issues in order to facilitate investigations being conducted by the CTI.

According to the attorney John Castelblanco, the objective is to their client, the hacker Sepulveda, to redeem part of his sentence of 10 years in prison-for espionage of the peace process through the design of this software, thanks to its experience in this area .

“Before the scandal broke, he developed software that provided to all government agencies at the same Attorney, he continues to develop the software,” said Castelblanco attorney.

It should be recalled that Sepulveda was convicted on charges of espionage, illegal wiretapping, malicious use of software, violation of communications and access to classified information.

After his sentence the hacker Sepulveda apologized to the country for betraying the Colombian security forces and their collaboration with interceptions of several members of the peace process in Cuba and became the first person to be convicted for espionage case.
