Gearbox Software receives bomb threat – LevelUp

According to a series of tweets from Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software, a team of bomb disposal was sent to the headquarters of the company after it received a bomb threat, which allegedly found in a car.

The executive said the police arrived late evening after employees developer studio Borderlands had already left their homes . Apparently, the officers used a special robot to detect if there was really something in one of the vehicles in the parking lot.

Fortunately, nothing was found and it all ended in a false alarm. According to Pitchford, the police would not reveal exact details of the threat, so it is unknown if this was directed to the study or any of the other companies that are in the same building.
