Less than 40,000 devices iPhone 6 iPhone 6 Plus or were affected when users downloaded the iOS 8.0.1, Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said. The new update, 8.0.2, fixes the problem.
Apple also claimed to have repaired the touch sensor that allows you to unlock the phone with fingerprints without using any numerical code, and the problems caused by the portal HealthKit health applications.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused to users of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that were affected by the worm software iOS 8.0.1 update,” Apple said.
Apple’s new phones also faced criticism for its flexibility, nicknamed bendgate. On social networks and online forums have abounded comments on how the new phones can be bent when left in the rear trouser pants tight pants or dress.
Apple said it received nine complaints from users with this problem, but said they are “extremely rare” cases, in an attempt to quell the controversy sparked by a video posted on the internet in which an iPhone is folded using only the strength of their hands.
