“The death clock” that predicts when we die

Scientists and insurance companies have partnered to develop a “death clock” that can predict when customers will die.

How will they? Apparently, that clock will have an algorithm that will determine the physical conditions of the person along with a series of data relating to the life expectancy of the area in which it resides and possible illness.

The panel ensures that its market will be very beneficial, even medically speaking, as it can prevent potential vulnerabilities in the population.

“We want to use the software available to predict longevity (…) We want to quantify the key factors affecting living conditions, lifestyle and medical interventions,” says local media Kulinskaya Elena, one of the experts who runs the project.

Thus, statisticians, computer scientists and doctors at the University of East Anglia (UK) are already launching the project using databases in order to determine the condition of long-term illnesses and, ultimately, the life expectancy, reports the website of the university.

At the moment, a grant of more than ten million euros funding the project although from East Anglia ask for cooperation to improve the reliability of the results and the “deathwatch”.
