The reorganization brought good results to TOTVS. The fourth quarter of 2015 closed with positive figures, including an increase of 3% in net income, mainly driven by software subscription model.
This is the first balance sheet reported by TOTVS, after the corporate reorganization with Bematech, completed in October last year. To maintain comparability, the results pro forma presented, combining the numbers of both companies, for the 12 months of the years 2015 and 2014.
With Bematech, TOTVS has become the largest supplier business solutions for the retail sector in Brazil. This segment reached 535.3 million rials billing r epresenta 24% of total pro-forma revenue ; a result that was equal to this segment manufacturing, traditionally the most representative recent years. No Bematech, this segment 25% increase in 2015.
The services sector was also impacted by the arrival of Bematech, particularly by the presence in hotels and passenger transport, making represent 15% of revenues in 2015 Distribution / logistics and financial services grew by 7% and 8%, respectively.; data that reinforce their segmentation strategy.
In 2015, the transition to model software subscription was the main factor contributing to the growth of total net income of the company , which totaled R $ 2.2 billion, 3% more than last year.
In the fourth quarter, net income totaled R $ 571.4 million. Subscription revenue grew 21%, representing 10% of total software revenue, compared to 8% in 2014.
This growth was impacted by the higher share of sales, customers of medium and small size, especially in the mode of Intera TOTVS, in which the customer defines and manages many users / entities have access to all software management, productivity and collaboration TOTVS. The model allows the customer to use the solutions in any cloud approved by TOTVS (Cloud).
