“The software was delayed because of its complexity” – El Universal

The head of the Ministry of Environment Tanya Müller, called at least delay six months on the implementation of the new software verification pollutant emissions vehicles, but justified it was necessary because of the complexity of the program and the tests were performed, it is unique in its kind in the country.

tHE UNIVERSAL reported that since 2013, in a report to the Legislative Assembly, the secretariat announced a new program whose tests begin in the first half of 2014, but Tanya Müller said that between testing and installation of software had that take a year and could no longer start full operation in the second half of 2015 as agreed.

the secretary explained that the new program will cost 3 million pesos and it was contracted by direct award the company Sensors Inc, US.

the software installation was done in 67 verificentros in operation between 2015 and 2016.

among the advantages of this program, Müller stressed , encryption of all data generated to prevent tampering, as well as direct communication between dependence and verificentros.
