Create software against dementia – ElHeraldo.hn

TOKYO, Japan

A team of Japanese researchers created software for android designed to program robots that monitor and help dementia patients in their daily lives, which is implemented in the robot Pepper.

With this software, Pepper has the ability to maintain simple conversations with dementia patients, urging them to take action as getting or taking your medicines, and even inform the doctor of how many pills have been taken through your Internet connection.

The robot can also alert the patient when receiving an email and ask questions like how many years have grandchildren, to see if correctly recall details about his family.
