Those who have worked in the field of application development we are accustomed to using tools bugtracking, platforms that help us record the errors detected in the different versions of each program as well as to create new tasks to be performed (new features, for example) and define the flow of responsibilities within the team.
Mantis is one of the best known in this sector, a free tool that takes decades to be one of the leaders, present in thousands of companies worldwide to not miss anything, nor the errors, nor the tasks that each one is doing at all times (I spoke to her for the first time here in wwwhatsnew in 2007, although I have to use it personally for a long above).
We now have a new option with us : ubugtrack.com, a slightly different platform, as it has no free code, so we can not install it on our server and customize it to the fullest, as with Mantis, but it does offer an extremely clean and intuitive interface, with states and ability to attach a ticket to another, thus helping to better understand the history of mistake or specific case.
Integrates with Github and Subversion, and although it is a project created by a single developer, is an example that you can still make interesting projects in a sector with many years behind them.
