LIMA .- The Peruvian sector services software, comprised of four consortia under the name of Peru Tech, has begun its projection into international markets with support of the Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and Tourism (PromPeru), officials said.
The plan to promote the software industry will be effective for the remainder of 2015 and during 2016 with the aim of settling in countries like Brazil, Mexico, USA and Portugal.
The export manager Promperú services industry, David Edery, told the newspaper El Comercio that the initiative not only seeks the software sector exports its services to more destinations but also to achieve that invest in them.

The export plan, the official said, will have a projection to 2025 and shall publish its final version by the end of July this year.
In 2014 Peruvian exports of services reached 5.874 million dollars, being the professional, technical and business support services offered the most, with 26% of the total, followed by accommodation and food activities with 20 %, according to data published by the newspaper.
