DETROIT, Michigan – Tesla Motors Some vehicles may park on their own without a driver at the wheel thanks to a software update sent by the company this weekend
.
The owners should place their cars Model S and Model X to about 33 feet of space where they want to park. The owner can then stop within 9 feet and park the car using a device on your keychain. The owner can also use the device to get the car out of the parking space.
Tesla said the system should only be used on private property.
The software update also puts a new speed limit for the semi-autonomous mode. The car now only travel within the speed limit when it used automatic driving on residential streets and streets without central separator.
